Ushioda Fellow Bill Emmott Presents Report on Post-Pandemic Policy

The Global Commission for Post-Pandemic Policy, which is led by Tokyo College Ushioda Fellow Bill Emmott, recently released a report titled “Our Global Condition: An Assessment by the Global Commission for Post-Pandemic Policy.” The report is a 56-point summary of observations and analyses concerning the pandemic, the current state of vaccinations, economic situations, political responses at the national and global levels, the relationship with climate change, and the impact on international relations. In addition, the report makes a number of important recommendations for each of the political and economic issues. The report will be of great help in learning more about the pandemic situation, not just on the level of each individual country but also globally, and how to overcome it.
