01 Description of Research

My dissertation was related to language interference, based on historical and cultural processes in a bilingual community. It also includes studies of the findings of structural and functional changes in a bilingual human brain. Therefore, I was passionate about continuing with interdisciplinary research. The new direction of my scientific interest is in the field of humanities, which is related to an interdisciplinary study of linguistics and music. The idea came from the findings of the well-known linguists Noam Chomsky and Ferdinand de Saussaure. And it was inspired by the contemporary composers Ludovico Einaudi and Yiruma. The research is based on the representation of unidimentional, bidimentional and multidimentional lexical fields with music signs. The lexical and morpheme structure of the Japanese language and the lexical structure of  Spanish and Bulgarian are a good basis for parallel trilingual interdisciplinary research. However, more languages can be used as well. The results of this type of research might find applications in modern linguoculturology and linguodidactics; in various fields of musicology, pedagogical practice, music production and text writing; in medical and psychological therapy.
