Tokyo College participated in Open Campus online event

On Tuesday, Sep 22, 2020, Tokyo college participated for the first time in the open campus event organized by the University. Due to the corona crisis, the event, which in normal years involves thousands of high school students and others interested in the teaching and research activities of the university strolling around the campuses, was held completely online. Tokyo college presented its mission, research foci and activities for a general audience to a group of ca. 50 participants via zoom. In a Q&A session, we received many excellent questions about our long-term goals, our upcoming undergraduate seminar on “The Earth and Human Society in 2050”, and additional ways to engage students in our events. Many thanks again to all participants for joining us. Tokyo College also plans to participate in further Open-Campus-related events organized by the university in the upcoming months, such as on-demand video content and an online exhibition. Stay tuned!
