Alberto TIRAFERRI

水質、水の管理、水の確保に関わることについて、また、水とエネルギーのネクサス（相互関連性）について研究している。具体的には、 (i) 水処理、淡水化、および排水の再利用のための膜処理技術および高度酸化処理、(ii) 含水廃棄物や塩分濃度の高い水からの資源回収を専門としている。現在、産業部門における水の再利用戦略を改善し、再生可能エネルギーによる低コストの淡水化をすすめることにより安全な水へのアクセスを増やすことを目的とした、MEloDIZER というヨーロッパ全体のプロジェクトを統括している。
