Affiliated Member Professor Takatoshi Ito Passes Away

We are deeply saddened to announce that Takatoshi Ito, affiliated member at Tokyo College and Professor Emeritus of the Graduate School of Public Policy at The University of Tokyo, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, after receiving medical treatment for his illness with grace and strength.

In accordance with his wishes, the funeral has been held only for close relatives, and condolence visits, telegrams, monetary offerings, flowers, and other gifts are declined.

Those who wish to remember him may direct any expressions of sympathy to the following institutions, which he held dear to his heart.
